[cad-linux] CAD program for Linux needed

Hello All,
I am a long-term Linux enthusiast. In fact, I erased all Windows from
computers at work and at home a long time ago. Until recently I was not much
engaged in CAD, but now I need a CAD program for a new project, and I need
it for Linux, given my loyalties.
I wonder if anyone can recommend a good 3D CAD program available on Linux?
I need to produce a CAD design a mechanical device, which looks something
like a piece of fitness equipment.
