[cad-linux] Re: CAD Soft on Linux ??

We (I) use VariCAD.
Depending on what you have to do with it: if you need a good 3D
geometric modeller with NO nurbs capabilities (forget complex surfaces),
but with excellent snap fetures, I can recommend it.

Pros: fast, stable, good set of basic features, cheap for what it
offers. 3d to 2D export with auto update
Cons: no modelling capabilities for complex surfaces, no IGES import,
circles represented as multi-lines. Rotation surfaces exported as facets
in IGES (I hear these latest features should improve in a next version)
