[cad-linux] Re: Any Intellicad progress updates?

Hmm, I have copied the pre=installed icad 4 files to another computer, now I
can get
it to run on both computers but both get the DRI error

I mis-reported before, the buttons, menus, etc respond quickly (ie normally).
The
graphics area displays drawings (loaded and being created/edited) normally, but
doing any picking in the graphics windows requires multiple clicks in order for
the
mouse click to "register" as a mouse click

This makes it unusable .. but if I could get this to work, it would seem to be
perfectly fine.

As previously pointed out, the use of a non-wine-compatible installer will
prevent
people who don't have access to a windows machine from running it.

Any wine config tips that might help me with the mouse problem are welcome. I
will
of course report any progress here.

I would certainly switch to a linux based app if I could find one that would
co-habitat with our Win. Autocad systems and provide the features we need, but
so
far I haven't found one.
