Well, I don't know about this, but I think that the icad's behaviour 
under linux/wine is not so regular.

I run and used it about a year ago under a Red Hat/wine 20020327 
installation, a little slow on panning and zooming but working ok.
When I tried it under a Debian/wine 20020411, it never works, it crashed 
after the Splash. Now with a backported version of wine 20030408, it 
works better than ever.

About the opengl, the only related library that I have installed now on 
my system is the xlibmesa3 4.1.0-16, but I don't know if it is significant
