Sure: swwatts3@ <mailto:swwatts3@xxxxxxxxxxx> gmail.com. Let me warn you, I
am sometimes slow to get to emails. It so happens I am working on several
tasks this evening.

What I think is happening is that FSX is eventually taking over the
computer's resources and that includes the sound. If I can locate a way to
tell my sound to not let programs take complete control and keep it that
way, that might solve the issue. If I may, can I have your e-mail address
so I can write you off list about this issue.

Ah okay. I bet this is a system setting that needs to be changed. My last
computer I don't recall ever having this issue.

No, I have a custom built machine from a company called IRTI which is
located in Grass Valley, CA.

Stephanie,

Is your computer an HP? The reason I ask is because I am thinking it might
be a system setting that needs changing.

Greetings Captains,

I just wanted to add that I have also experienced the same with sound in
FSX.

I have noticed a problem, and I thought I had it fixed. Apparently, no I do
not. Say I open the flight planner during a flight and do something or just
close it again without doing any changes, all audio except for the simulator
becomes too quiet. I have to restart IYP, I cannot hear my screen reader
anymore for when the ATC window opens, and I also cannot hear that beep if
speech recognition does not understand me. Ideas anyone? Note Windows
Media Player is not effected by this problem but everything else seems to
be.

Thanks,

Jordan
