Hi, Beloved users !
Thanks to Mike you for such great piece of software ! Thanks to
CDShell, now I carry only two CDs instead of lots of diskette
boxes !
I'm writing this because when I start to use the new v 2.1.6 , I
get this error:
"Error booting from CD/DVD drive
Press any key to reboot"
[###############-----------] 808002F9 "
Things that may help to detect the bug:
1) When I use the SAME CD in another computer, the other computer
starts CDShell without trouble. The other computer has a Gigabyte
Technology motherboard model 81g1000MK with CD-ROM GCR-8525B and an
Intel Celeron 2.13GHz)
2) When I burn a new iso in the same CD but with the CDShell v2.1.5,
CDShell shows the same error.
3) When I burn a new image in the same CD but with the CDShell
v2.1.4, CDShell can start fine in both computers (that is why I'm
going to use this version until the new 2.1.7 can be realeased.
4) I've searched for this 808002F9 error number in
http://www.freelists.org/archives/bscript/ but
5) The computer which is giving us this headache is an Intel with
motherboard D865GBF with a GCR-8525B CD-ROM and a Pentim4 2.4GHz.
Hope this information may be useful for you.
I've been using CDShell since it was Boot Scriptor :)
