You are right. I am still waiting for full serial support in
bootscriptor but for my actual project this will be enough. I will also
post to the syslinux list later.

Yes. It loads perfectly from 1.44 floppy, showing menu, making serial
stuff and so on. But on 2.88 diskemu seems to load disk properly and
grub only prints out a lonely "GRUB". Under normal circumstances this is
followed by a couple of ".". But nothing here. I don't think it is a
GRUB geometry check problem since with memdisk everything is figured
out. I guess diskemu isn't yet really tested with 2.88 images, isn't it?
I will try to create a 2.88 MSDOS Boot disk and check it. Perhaps so we
can reduce space of problem.
