Greater Yellowlegs - 2 (first seen last Fri., 16th)
Pectoral Sandpiper - 2
Wilson's Snipe - 16+
Purple Martin - 4
Tree Swallow - 30+
Barn Swallow - 1
Am. Pipit - 16
Winter Wren - 1
I always use the appearance of the first Barn Swallow to indicate the first
day of spring, vernal equinox notwithstanding.
Also:
N. Rough-wg. Swallow - 1 along Watauga River in Elizabethton.
