Bert Hale, 3miles east of Bluff City in Sullivan County
For what it's worth.
I have a cat bird nesting in an ornimantel holly tree in my yard.
A crested fly catcher in an owl box over the drive way (Wallace and Chris
O'Brien
banded owls ther last year.
Unusual perhaps a blue bird is nesting in a "wren" house hanging from the eaves
of my shop about 8 feet from the pavement. One has fledged earlier this year
in a normal blue bird house.
Using my watering hole are a wood thrush, thrasher, tohees, and the usual stuff
including snakes which I catch and remove over the hill to my neighbors.
My usual nesting house wren did not show up this year, but that is a long story.
That's all I have to say about this.
Bert
