I had a single Tree Swallow flying low over the river
and hawking insects just below the power sluice at
South Holston Dam, Sullivan Co., TN this morning
(11/19).
This is the latest record for this species known in
Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee.
The previous late record was Nov. 16 in Northeast
Tennessee.
During the morning o 11/19 I had an adult Bald Eagle
fly at almost eye level and within 100 yards of the
lanuching ramp at Musick's Campground, South
Holston Lake, Sullivan Co., TN.
Let's go birding.....
