[Bristol-Birds] hunters behind riverfront restaurant

Just a FYI.  This morning as I was birding behind Riverfront Restaurant in
Kingsport I was startled (as were the birds) by repeated gunfire coming from
the nearby island in the river at that location.  I subsequently saw a
number of hunters on the island with guns and decoys set out for ducks or
geese.  This was pretty close.  They had gained access by boat.  Also saw
one guy with gun walking alongside the opposite bank in what would be Domtar
Park.  I notified the Kingsport City Police.  I'm unsure of the legality of
this, but it makes me kind of nervous.  Spotted Sandpiper present.
