[Bristol-Birds] ducks

In northeast Tenn., a few ducks were present 
today on Boone Lake & South Holston Lake, 
apparently grounded by the weather.

Ring-nk. Duck - 8 (BL)
Lesser Scaup - 19 (BL), 24 (SHL)
Bufflehead - 10 (BL), 10 (SHL)
Ruddy Duck - 1 (BL)
Red-br. Merganser - 38 (BL), 87 (SHL)

also present were:
Com. Loon - 9 (BL), 8 (SHL)
Pied-billed Grebe - 10 (SHL)
Horned Grebe - 4 (BL), 7 (SHL)
Eared Grebe - 7 (SHL)
D-c Cormorant - 1 (BL), 2 (SHL)
Am Coot - 24 (SHL)
Killdeer - 66 (SHL - at Musick's)
plus a few Bonaparte's & Ring-billed gulls

Also, a Fox Squirrel was seen on 
Sugar Hollow Rd. at Boone Lake.  
This is a scarce mammal in most of northeast Tenn.
