Today (4-26) Gilbert Derouen & I observed a Short-billed Dowitcher at "West
View pond", near Limestone in Washington Co. Also present were 2 Pectoral & 1
Least Sandpiper. Nice cap to a 100+ species day on the Spring Count.
(The pond is located on a side road at the south end of Washington College
Station Rd., near Old St. Rt. 34 -- across from West View Elem. School.)
