Yesterday afternoon, we took a ride through Burke's Garden, Tazewell County. We
had a couple good looks at bobolinks and heard several more. Also, a good look
at a red-headed woodpecker and two redwings after an American kestrel.
There were lots of redwings, American goldfinches, barn swallows and
meadowlarks.
On the way there, we saw dark-eyed juncos on top of East River Mt. This was
along Cove Creek Road(Rt. 662).
