I observed the following this week in Greeneville, nearby in the Tusculum area, and at various points in the southern part of the county:

Common Nighthawk (2 on Oct 5);
Great Horned Owl (2 on Oct. 4);
Chimney Swift (3-9 on Oct. 4-8);
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (Oct. 7);
Eastern Wood-Pewee (Oct. 7);
Tree Swallow (20-40 on Oct. 6, 8);
Barn Swallow (Oct. 8) (my personal latest date for Greene Co.);
Swainson's Thrush (3 on Oct. 7);
Gray Catbird (2 on Oct. 7);
Brown Thrasher (1-3 on Oct. 7-8);
Red-eyed Vireo (Oct. 4);
Tennessee Warbler (1-2 on Oct. 6-8);
Chestnut-sided Warbler (Oct. 4);
Magnolia Warbler (2 on Oct. 4);
Yellow-rumped Warbler (Oct. 6);
Black-throated Green Warbler (Oct. 4);
Bay-breasted Warbler (Oct. 8);
American Redstart (1-2 on Oct. 4-5, 7-8);
Common Yellowthroat (1 on Oct. 5, 8);
Scarlet Tanager (1-2 on Oct. 4-6);
Rose-breasted Grosbeak (1-3 on Oct. 4-7);
Indigo Bunting (2-4 on Oct. 4-5, 7);
Chipping Sparrow (2 on Oct. 6);
Savannah Sparrow (7 on Oct. 6).
