Birders: ( Yellow-Billed Cuckoo at The Panther Creek State Park ) This morning while Shane and Dennis Adams at the Hamblen County Genealogical Society picnic / meeting at the Panther Creek State Park on June 2, 2005 I heard and saw a Yellow-Billed Cuckoo sitting in a tree on the right side of the picnic pavilion on the upper level at the very end of the road I also saw a White-Eyed Vireo and Turkey & Black Vultures circling over head and I saw one of the Black Vulture with its Talon or claws down trying to catch its prey for food. The Panther Creek State Park is located on panther spring road about 2 miles turn to the right to the entrance from the panther springs road of the Panther Creek State Park.
