[Bristol-Birds] Yard birds

Here in my yard in the SW VA mts, we're seeing red-winged blackbirds and starlings but no grackles or cowbirds yet. The phoebe is back also. Cardinals, titmice, nuthatches, Carolina wrens, song sparrows, bluebirds are singing. Male downy woodpeckers are chasing and displaying. No pine siskins for a few days now. Had one male purple finch last week, the first for this winter.
