.
BBC'er Sam Cross is a member of the Holston Eagles Baseball team and while
pitching on Sunday suffered and injury to his throwing arm. During the delivery
of a pitch Sam felt a 'pop' in his elbow and fell to the mound in pain. He
walked off the field under his own power to a relived round of applause. Today
Dr.'s said after viewing an x-ray that a fracture may have occurred to the base
of the upper arm bone, a common injury for growing boys of Sam's strength. Sam
may be available for comment at the Club meeting on Tuesday, April 20, 2004.
