Adam Campbell photographed these White Ibises, 2 July 2008, along the Watauga 
River an estimated 500 yards upstream from the Norfolk Southern Railway river 
trestle. 
The site is along the SW edge of the city of Watauga, Carter Co., TN.  This is 
in the 
vicinity of Lacy Islands.  He was with a friend, Amber Nave, when the photo was 
taken.  There are less than a dozen records for the species in Northeast 
Tennessee.
