I observed the following birds today in Greene County, mostly during a
couple of hours spent in the Midway/Mohawk area this afternoon:
Wood Duck (4);
Blue-winged Teal (9);
Gadwall (2);
Northern Shoveler (2);
Cooper's Hawk;
American Coot (10);
Wilson's Snipe (2);
Eurasian Collared-Dove (adjacent to West Greene High School);
Red-headed Woodpecker (2 on Green Road);
Tree Swallow (15);
Northern Rough-winged Swallow (6);
Barn Swallow (2);
Brown Thrasher;
American Pipit (40);
Swamp Sparrow (4);
Rusty Blackbird (6).
