[Bristol-Birds] Waterfowl, etc. (Sullivan Co., TN)

Sullivan County, TN, including
Middlebrook Lake (ML);
Musick's Lakeside Campground (MLC);
Osceola Island Recreation Area (OIRA).

I began the new year with a trip to Sullivan County yesterday morning
and was pleased to find a variety of diving ducks and other species.
Notables included:

Eared Grebe (8 MLC);
Horned Grebe (3 MLC);
Pied-billed Grebe (7);
Great Blue Heron (3);
Canada Goose (127);
American Black Duck (ML);
American Black Duck / Mallard hybrid (ML);
American Wigeon (10 OIRA);
Canvasback (2 OIRA);
Redhead (OIRA);
Ring-necked Duck (8 ML, 2 OIRA);
Greater Scaup (OIRA);
Lesser Scaup (3 OIRA);
Bufflehead (138 OIRA and environs);
Hooded Merganser (39 ML);
Ruddy Duck (OIRA);
American Coot (5 ML);
Ring-billed Gull (400 at several sites, plus another 125 across from MLC
in Washington Co., VA).
