[Bristol-Birds] Waterfowl, Carter and Sullivan Counties

Gil Derouen, Reece Jamerson and I birded this morning, checking water areas in 
Carter and Sullivan Counties.  Highlights include:

Carter County
Watauga River, Rasar Farm, Siam Bridge area

White-winged Scoter  (just upstream from the bridge upstream from the Wilbur 
Dam)

Sullivan County
Paddlecreek--had a good variety of ducks

Ring-necked Duck         ~20
Wilson's Snipe             2

Weir Dam, S. Holston River

Musick's Campground
Pied-billed Grebe           8
horned Grebe               12
Eared Grebe                  3
Canada Geese, Mallards, Ringbilled Gulls
Some of the Grebes are changing from winter to breeding plumage.  Nice colors!
