Kestrel 1 Rasor Farm: Bufflehead 27 Watauga River, Siam Bridge Area Bufflehead 6 Red-tailed Hawk 1 Wild Turkey 20 Wilbur Lake Bufflehead 20 Watauga Lake at Overlook 10 Diving Ducks, probably Redheads (These ducks were far out and it was raining at the time, so, even with a scope, we couldn't be sure of the species.) SULLIVAN COUNTY South Holston R., Webb Bridge area Wood Duck 2 Hooded Merganser 2 Paddle Creek Wood Duck 5 Gadwall 2 Ruddy Duck 1 Ring-necked Duck 16 Weir Dam Bufflehead 2 Winter Wren 1 Holston Dam Overlook Common Loon 2 Scaup Sp. 5 Ring-billed Gull 130 D.C. Coromorant 7 Musick's Campground Common Loon 2 Red-breasted Merganser 2 Pied-billed Grebe (mixed plumage) 15 Horned Grebe (mixed plumage) 22 Eared Grebe (close to breeding plumage) 1 Ring-billed Gull 150 Middlebrook Lake Canada Geese, Mallards, Coots Great Blue Heron Hooded Mergansers 4 The Eared Grebe at Musick's was not with the Horned Grebes--it was fairly far out, but, with the rain stopped, provided a good view with a scope.
