TVA announces formation of Environmental Information Center (EIC)

 

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has established a new Environmental 
Information Center (EIC), available to anyone who needs TVA-related 
environmental information or has questions regarding a variety of environmental 
issues. According to Anda Ray, Senior VP, Office of Environment and Research, 
the EIC will be open between the hours of 8:00 a.me.-6:00 up.m. EST, and can be 
accessed by dialing 1-800-882-5363 or at their Web site address: 
http://www.tva.com/environment/eic.

 

The EIC, staffed by TVA's Office of Environment and Research, is designed to 
answer your questions with accurate information encompassing a number of TVA's 
environmental areas. These include:

  b.. Shoreline actions and issues
  c.. Permitting procedures
  d.. Reservoir land plan information
  e.. Water quality
  f.. Archaeological information
  g.. Environmental education
  h.. Renewable energy
  i.. Sport fishing activities
