Had a large swarm of swallows over the pond at Erwin Fishery Park in Unicoi
County today (March 20) around 4 p.m. Probably 75-100 swallows, maybe even
more. Difficult to count.
Definitely saw many Tree Swallows, Barn Swallows and a few Northern
Rough-winged. I got binoculars twice on a swallow that I think was a Bank
Swallow, but just could not nail down the ID for sure.
