If you're looking for a way to cool down this weekend, then come by
Steele Creek Park this Saturday. We will be conducting a stream search
beginning at 2:00 pm. We will meet at the Nature Center and then make
our way to the creek, where we will use nets to catch everything from
Mayfly and Stonefly larva to crayfish to the native fish found in Steele
Creek. There are dace, darters, and many other types of fish we could
find. We may even look for some of the more aquatic snakes that may be
nearby. If you have any questions, call the nature center at 989-5616.
