[bristol-birds] Spring harbingers

Yesterday (Feb. 21) evening, around 6 p.m., I returned home to Hampton, TN,
after work and as I got out of the car spooked a flock of Red-winged
Blackbirds from a stand of cattails in the field near my home. I counted 16
Red-wings.
Then, I noticed about three or four American Robins giving alarm calls from a
large Blue Spruce.
With the robins increasing their prescence and the blackbirds showing up, I
guess spring is getting closer.
