Subject: [birdky] Snow Buntings in Jefferson County
Brainard called to say he has 30 Snow Buntings, 10 Lapland Longspurs, and over
100 Horned Larks on his farm in eastern Jefferson County. Roads around his
farm are treacherous but passable. He's without power but will post more when
he's able.
Also a reminder to keep a close eye on your feeders today and the next few days
in areas hit by the ice. Lots of birds will have trouble finding natural food
and some rarities may show up at feeders.
