I watched at least one male Ruby-throated Hummingbird feed at my sugar water
feeders today (April 24) with snow on the ground at home in Hampton, Carter
Co., TN. That was a first!
In addition, I had at least one Dark-eyed Junco and a few White-throated
Sparrows at the feeders. I thought the last of the juncos had already departed.
The only other notable activity was a noticeable increase in the number of
Blue Jays visiting the feeders.
