Following good directions from Jon Mann, of the Nashville Chapter of the TOS,
a single Scissor-tailed Flycatcher was located this afternoon. The bird was
on a power line along Florence Road just after crossing over HWY 840 in
Murfreesboro. The flycatcher's swooping dive on a nearby Starling ended with a
momentary hover with that tremendous forked tail flared and a pink flush under
the
wing exposed.
