[bristol-birds] Russell County Shorebirds

On my way to work on Friday, 3-29, I stopped by the
"Mudhole" at Elk Garden. I saw some activity so I
stopped for a few minutes. There were 75 plus Common
Snipe and 30 plus Killdeer. I heard a Greater
Yellowlegs calling and he flew by being chased by a
very belligerent American Robin. The Yellowlegs
finally ditched the Robin and landed about 25 feet
from me at the edge of the water. Other sightings
around the pond were: 15 Wood Ducks, 2 Green Wing
Teal, and 4 Mallards.
