Cocke Co., TN
I spent a couple of hours in the Parrottsville area of Cocke County late this
morning, seeking farm ponds and open fields while combing select backroads. I
found several noteworthy species:
Canada Goose (189)
Gadwall (77)
Northern Shoveler (4)
Northern Pintail (5)
Green-winged Teal (61)
Ruddy Duck
Wild Turkey (23)
Great Egret
American Kestrel (7)
American Coot (20)
Swamp Sparrow (5)
White-crowned Sparrow (8)
Rusty Blackbird (38).
