Hello birders -
I was up on Roan Mountain this morning, and saw several birds between
Carver's Gap and Grassy Ridge Bald. In addition to several Junco's,
Chestnut-sided Warblers, and Common Yellowthroats, there were 5-6
singing Vesper Sparrows in different territories, and 4 Hermit
Thrushes singing in the woods on either side of the balds.
Good birding!
