Today at noon I observed a Red-necked Grebe at Boone Lake in northeast Tenn.
The bird was on the Holston fork, southeast of the airport; viewed from the end
of Lake Breeze Dr. (off Hamilton Rd.).

Also in that area were 5 Com. Goldeneyes & an adult Bald Eagle (its been a very
good winter for eagles on area lakes).
