REDDISH EGRET - 1 dark morph juvenile.
Found yesterday by Michael Sledjeski. This bird was easily seen from the
access road
just before getting to the coal tipple. Don Miller & Alice Loftin were present
and admiring
the bird when I arrived. Wonderful feeding behavior by the egret.
To my knowledge, this is the second state record. The previous record was at
Gallatin
Steam Plant, on 23 Aug - 6 Sep 1997.
