Rankin Bottoms, Cocke County, TN 5:00pm - 7:30pm
I thought that it would be worthy to add to James Brooks' report that
shortly after he left Carol, Ginger, and I saw 2 Forester's Tern
standing next to two Caspian Tern in the same shallows that the Reddish
Egret was hunting, and Ginger and I also got great looks at a male
Common Yellowthroat, all four are lifers for me. I also managed to see
my first Tennessee 3 Cedar Waxwings.
A very memorable birding day,
David Hunt
Gray, TN
