[Bristol-Birds] Recent Sightings from the School Bus

While driving the school bus from Powell Valley High School to Strawberry Patch
in Lee County VA along the Powell River I have seen the following birds this
week:
* Goldfinches
* Indigo Bunting (same male twice a day for 5 days in the same spot)
* Red wing blackbirds
* 3 GBH (twice, two days in a row, flying over the same location)
* Red Shouldered Hawk with rodent
* Northern Cardinal, both genders
* Belted Kingfisher at the mouth of Williams Hollow. This afternoon
the male flew up Hunter's Branch out of Williams Hollow in front of the bus for
100 meters.
* Turkey Vultures
* Common Raven
* Wild Turkey
* Red Tailed Hawk
* Canada Goose
* Mallards
* chimney swifts
* yellow throated warbler (heard at 6:40 AM Thursday & Friday near PVHS)
* Robins
* Pileated Woodpecker
* Flicker
* Grackles
* Crows
* tree swallows
* northern rough-winged swallows
* towhee
