I had a single female Purple Finch at feeders this evening (March 28) at my
home in Hampton, Carter Co., TN. My mom has been seeing them for a couple of
days at her feeders, but this is the first one I have seen this spring/year.
And
I didn't see any in 2007. So, this was a welcome return.
