Here is a long list birds that I have seen in Northern California on my
vacation from ( 7-11-02 - 7-15-02 ) enjoy everyone! ; I saw 34 total birds.
Chestnut Back Chickadee, Crows, Rock Doves, Vultures, Seagulls, Red-Tailed
Hawks, Great Egrets, Canada Geese, Common Raven, Elks ( for the hunters in the
group ), Steller's Jay, Band-tailed Pigeon, Pelagic Cormorant, Red Winged
Blackbirds, Vaux's Swift, 6 or 12 or more Big Brown Pelicans, ( soring or
flying ) White-Winged
Scoter, Black Oystercatcher, Barn Swallows ( one was nesting at the picnic area
at our family reunion ), Osprey, Swainson's Thrush, White-Throated Swift, Cliff
Swallows, Great Blue Herons, Black Capped Chickadees, White-Crowned Sparrow, 2
Hummingbirds, Bewick's Wren, Northern Rough-Winged Swallow, 4 California
Quails, Black-Footed Albatross, ( San Fran ), Doves, & Brown-Headed CowBirds. (
Golden Gate Bridge ) Double-Crested Cormorants ( Northern California )
