[Bristol-Birds] Re: New one for me today.

You are the second to confirm the pintail. Richard Kretz was the first and
he is usually spot on. The ducks were in the far northwestern corner, near
the bridge parking area and across from the old water plant. I really
appreciate your input, I wish I had found the male but she was alone.


As for the second photo (Set) so far on the left the score is:

2 Female mallard
1 Gadwall (You)

Unanimous vote for Gadwall on the right.

Hey Don,

I was also at the Weir Dam this morning around 10:00.  My field guide is
still in the car but in the first photo the birds look like a pair of
Gadwall. In the second photo...and I may be totally wrong on this one...but
the jizz is a female Pintail.
