[Bristol-Birds] Musick's Lakeside Campground / OBX (Outer Banks) Trip

9 MAR 03
Musick's Lakeside Campground
South Holston Lake
Bristol, TN

More great weather to take advantage of netted me a year bird at the lake
today:

Ruddy Duck - 1 male

others present were:

Pied-billed Grebe
Canada Goose
Great Blue Heron
Ring-billed Gull
Unidentified Grebe - 1 (probably Horned Grebe)

The OBX tour mentioned on an earlier post, by BBC VP L McD, sounds great!
Although I cannot think of a bad time to go the 'Banx' Some advantages to
going after Memorial Day weekend include:
Cheaper Motel Rates
Cheaper Boat Rates
Less Congestion/Traffic

This may not be a trip my entire family can make, however, I would be
interested in traveling and sharing expenses with others.
