[bristol-birds] Merganser at Bristol

A male Hooded Merganser was found at Middlebrook Lake,
in east Bristol, TN today about 2 p.m.
This is the first 2002 fall record reported for this species in
the area.
Large wintering populations have occured at this location since
1986 with numbers reaching a high of 259 in Dec. 1999.
