[bristol-birds] Mendota Hawk Watch Update

Mendota update for 9/18/02: We had another good day at the Mendota Fire 
Tower. Birders including Bob Riggs, Bob Quillen, Tom Edwards, Marion 
Finucane, George Larkins, Barbara and Tom Zollman, Sharon and Dennis Barrett, 
Carl Bachman, and Maynard Hawkins were on hand for a relatively steady flow 
of Broad-winged Hawks, a large number of Ospreys, a male Northern Harrier, 
and an adult Bald Eagle. Fred Alsop and his students from ETSU also paid us a 
brief visit late in the day. Here are the numbers for this week plus the 
totals year-to-date which include last week:
