Hello Bristol Birders,
A fellowship of 9 has travelled to coastal South Carolina. The fellowship
consists of Don Holt, Diane Draper, Brooky and Jean, Larry "Mad Dog" McDaniel,
Tom McNeil, Jeff Larson, Kim Stroud, and Rob Biller.
Today was the first real birding day. Highlights from Huntington Beach State
Park (from the Causeway to the Education Building feeders to the Jetty[ The Tom
McNeil Death March]) include:
Cave Swallows 40+
Common Ground Doves 3
Painted Bunting 1 (female)
Saltmarsh Sharp-tailed Sparrow 4+
Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrow 1+
Red-throated Loons 10++
Harlequin Duck 1
Common Eider 1
Great Black-backed Gulll 2+
Northern Gannets 50+
Purple Sandpiper 1+
