Just for clarification - the walk is at Sycamore Shoals State Park in Elizabethton, Tennessee - 8am. The park is located at 1651 W Elk Ave (Hwy 321/67). Rob Biller Elizabethton, TN ============= The Elizabethton Club will host a bird walk at Sycamore Shoals at 8:00am on Saturday May 13, 2006 for International Migratory Bird Day. The walk will be led by Lee and Lois Herndon Chapter TOS president Tom McNeil. Earlier in the season, Rick Knight reported that the Yellow-crowned Night Heron nest is active again at the state park and I'm sure it will be visited during the walk. The rest of the walk will be a leisurely stroll along the river and the usual birdy spots within the park. Everyone is invited.
