[Bristol-Birds] Re: ID Help - - Two Unknown

Thanks for all the quick answers. The thing that threw me is that the duck
on the left was very small. Is it possible it is an young mallard? I wish I
had caught something in the shot for a size reference. I see lots of
mallards everyday and this was smaller.

  Don,

  Bird on left: Mallard, female;

  Bird on right: Gadwall, male.

Ok I bragged on my new guide and now I am lost (again). I have combined two
photo's because these two ducks were together. Not sure if they belong
together though. There were small in size somewhere between a green wing
teal and a rinkneck. Spotted at the South Holston Weir Dam in Sullivan
County TN around 7:15 AM GMT.
