Greetings and Happy New year. I was travelling to Asheville today and my
girlfriend mentioned the Partial Albino Red-tail Hawk that is famous for
hanging out on I-26 on the North Carolina side of the state line. well we
were very lucky when about a mile down the mountain we spotted this hawk
nicely perched on a tree close to the road. Here are the shots I was able to
come up with . it quickly became weary of me and flew off. its neat to see
the color the bird does have.. A red tail and some black in the primary wing
feathers.

Happy Birding to all.
