[Bristol-Birds] Herndon Chapter Bird Walk, Elizabethton, TN

The Lee & Lois Herndon Chapter TOS held the first of four October Saturday
bird walks at Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park, Elizabethton, Carter Co., on
Oct. 4, from 8 a.m.-11 a.m.
They found 40 species, including nine species of warblers.
Highlights included:
Tennessee Warbler
Northern Parula
Chestnut-sided Warblers (adult and immature)
Magnolia Warbler
Cape May Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler (male and female)
Black-throated Green Warbler
American Redstarts
Wood Duck
Barn Swallows (2)
Tree Swallows (2 or 3)
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
White-eyed Vireo
Yellow-throated Vireo
