[Bristol-Birds] Greeneville Field Trip

       On Saturday, March 29 the Bristol Bird Club, in conjunction with the 
Greene County Bird Club, will host a birding field trip to various locales in 
Greene County including the Walmart Distribution Center ponds. 
       Don Miller will be the trip leader.  We will meet at 7:30 at the 
Homestead Family Restaurant on Highway 11-E on the western outskirts of 
Greeneville.  Travel will be by car.  Ride sharing will be arranged at the 
Homestead.  
       Last year at this time the following birds were reported:  Northern 
Harrier, Wood Duck, Blue-winged Teal, Green-winged Teal, Gadwall, Northern 
Shoveler, Ring-necked Duck, American Bittern, Greater Yellowlegs, Wilson's 
Snipe, 
Semipalmated Plover,  Virginia Rail, 3 types of swallows, American Pipit, 
Summer Tanager, Savannah Sparrow, Rusty Blackbird and Bobolink.
