[bristol-birds] Greene Co. Green Heron, Osprey, Harrier, Kingbird Apr.11-13

Thursday morning, April 11, 2002 in Greene Co. on Hwy 351 about 1 mile south 
of the Intersection with Hwy 107 a Green Heron flew over.  Later that 
afternoon an Osprey was observed circling, hovering and catching a fish then 
perching to feed at the Clyde Austin 4-H Center pond, also in Greene Co.  
Friday morning, April 12, a Northern Harrier flew over the wetland at the 
center.  Saturday, April 13, an Osprey was there again, this time flying over 
high and generally heading up the Nolichuckey River.  Also on Saturday an 
Eastern Kingbird was observed perching in treetops at the 4-H Center, calling 
and flycatching.  Other good birds observed Saturday included a Wild Turkey 
tom and three hens seen feeding in a field , a Northern Bobwhite heard giving 
the separation call, a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, and a Swamp Sparrow.
